Mujaahids’ mom was an athlete. She was the one that always encouraged him. After his mom passed on he continued with athletics thus to follow in her foot steps and to make her proud.
What type of child is he:
When asked that question Mujaahid responded: “I'm not always good, but I'm trying. My mother was very sick and I had to do everything myself. My aunt now teach me, she is also my guardian. I want to continue with my sports as I know it has changed me and to build good character for the future”

Where does he see himself in 5 years (athletics):
Mujaahids’ goal is to progress to Nationals, thereafter to the Diamond League and eventually to represent South Africa in the Olympics
What is his hopes and dreams:
He is training towards his dream which is to hold the record for the most fastest in 100m S.A sprinter
What his coach Waleed says about him:
Mujaahid is very focused and disciplined on training and trains hard to achieve his dreams and goal. He is a pleasure to have on training because he listens and apply what is being coached. Mujaahid has greatness awaiting him…Remember this name: Mujaahid Ismail
