Achieving is Believing
Family: He is the eldest son of two siblings and reside with his parents in Silvertown Athlone.
Athletics: Dales’ interest in athletics started in 2014 and in 2016 he successfully competed at the semi-championship in the triple jump event. “I love athletics because it gives you an unexplainable rush that puts you in your own world of joy and excitement doing what you love”.
Dale shows tremendous potential and really loves training. He is even sad to sit out from training due to an injury. However this does not stop him as he will be at every competition to support his fellow teammates. “Coach Waleed is by far the greatest coach. He's dedicated to his athletes and motivates them to do extremely well in their events. Coach will be sick but he will always be there for his athletes".
mmm no wonder…like (father)coach like (son)athlete…
“Towards my fellow club mates I'd like to say that I appreciate you all for always bringing a smile to my face especially when I'm having a bad day. ULTRA RANGERS!”
Favorites: Dale loves pizza!!!! He also enjoys gaming, long-boarding and being outdoors.
Personal Motivation: Dale is really an awesome, humble person that is great to be with. His uniqueness can be testified by everyone. “What motivates me is seeing an athlete's joy when they succeed in their events. It drives me to do much better and to keep progressing”.
Goal: His short term goal is to attain his Western Province colours and his long term goal is to represent his country.
Even though Dale is recovering from an injury and yearning to be back at training, he still motivates his fellow teammates to “never give up! It’s not easy to become the best but it'll all be worth it. Don't just dream, make your dream a reality”.
