Electrifying and excitement was in the air as the new king was announced being none other than Mr Ultra AC Dylan Weir. “I was cheerfully surprised, and also a happy feeling knowing that my contribution (with the help of my parents and family) was recognised” Dylan delightfully expressed. “I feel very honoured to be part of Ultra Athletics Club as there are many athletes in this club that are good examples and that has proven themselves over the years from where they started (back of the pack) and where they are now (leading the pack). I enjoy running as it is a sport of my dreams”.

Dylan was born on the 22nd November 2005 and is a very quiet and shy young man. He started running at the school athletics when he was 10 years old. “I found that I really enjoyed it and wanted to do more”.

FAVOURITES: Dylans’ favourite food is chicken, and he especially loves his mom's Sunday roast.
Personal motivation: There is a saying that states that you have to believe in your dreams and that anything is possible. Dylan stays motivated by being able to improve himself and pushing himself to the next level. “I love the feeling I get when I reached a new level”.

Goal: “I would like to become an SA champ and take part in both national and international competitions, and maybe even break a few records along the way”.

This young man, now known as Mr Ultra, radiates positivity and believes that success is small efforts done day in and day out. And indeed with his efforts he will surely reach his goals.

Ultra Athletics regularly posts usefull tips and articles about fitness, execise as well as running.
